Wisconsin Style Baked Pork Chops with Sauerkraut

Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 tbsp. vegetable oil four, 3/4 inch thick pork chops 8 ounce can sauerkraut, drained 1 tsp. dried caraway seed 2 cups sour cream, room temperature 1/2 tsp. paprika
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat the inside of a large baking dish lightly with cooking spray. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add pork chops and brown well on both sides. Transfer chops to the prepared dish. Spoon sauerkraut evenly over pork. Sprinkle caraway seeds over sauerkraut. Top each chop with 1/2 cup sour cream. Sprinkle paprika over. Bake about 25 to 30 minutes until sour cream is golden. Serve immediately.
Serves 4.
