16 ounces white chocolate, chopped 1/2 cup butter, chopped 2 large eggs 1/3 cup sugar 1 tbsp. vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour, sifted 1/4 tsp. salt 1 cup white chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the inside of a 9 inch square baking pan. Combine the white chocolate and butter in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir the chocolate occasionally until melted and smooth. Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a large bowl until foamy. Beat in the sugar and vanilla. Gradually beat in the melted white chocolate mixture. Stir together the flour, salt and white chocolate chips in a medium bowl and fold into the batter. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan. Bake brownies about 25 minutes until set. Cut brownies into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
Makes about 12 brownies.
