Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 boneless pork loin chops, about 6 ounces each 1/4 cup whiskey 1/2 cup water 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
Place pork chops in a large skillet and brown about 2 minutes per side over medium high heat. Reduce heat to medium and pour the whiskey into the skillet. Cover chops and cook about 5 to 7 minutes until cooked through. Transfer the chops to a plate and tent with foil. Add water, brown sugar, Dijon, salt and pepper to the skillet. Increase the heat to high and boil the Dijon mixture about 3 minutes until reduced to sauce consistency. Spoon the sauce over the chops and serve.
Serves 2.
