Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound ground beef 8 ounce can tomato sauce 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. yellow mustard 1/2 tsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
Place ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat. Brown beef, breaking up clumps. Drain fat from the skillet. Stir tomato sauce, chili powder, Worcestershire, mustard, sugar and salt into the ground beef. Simmer 10 minutes over medium low heat, stirring occasionally. Spoon sloppy Joe mixture onto the bottom bun halves. Sprinkle with cheese and top with remaining bun halves. Serve immediately.
Serves 6.
