1 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 3/4 cups hot water

Directions
For Cake:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter the inside of a 9x13 inch glass baking dish. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the sugar and walnuts. Whisk together the milk, melted butter and vanilla in a medium bowl. Add to the flour mixture and beat until well blended. Place the unsweetened chocolate in a small microwaveable bowl and microwave about 1 minute until melted, stirring frrequently. Beat the melted chocolate into the cake batter. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared dish.

For Sauce:
Combine both sugars and cocoa in a medium bowl. Add the hot water and stir until smooth. Gently pour the sauce over the back of a large spoon to completely cover the cake batter.

Bake the cake about 50 minutes until firm and the top is browned. Transfer the pan to a rack and cool the cake slightly. Cut the cake into squares and divide between plates. Spoon some of the sauce remaining in the baking dish over each piece of cake and serve warm.
