Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1 tsp. dried thyme 1 tsp. minced garlic 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 3 tbsp. water 1 large egg white 6 halibut fillets, about 4 to 5 ounces each
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large baking pan with nonstick foil. Stir together oats, walnuts, thyme, garlic, salt and cayenne in a shallow pie plate. Whisk together water and egg white in a shallow bowl. Dip halibut fillets in egg white mixture then dredge in oat mixture to coat. Place coated fillets on foil-lined pan. Bake halibut 10 to 12 minutes until fish flakes easily.
Serves 6.
