Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound ground venison 1 package dry onion soup mix 1 1/4 cup fine dry breadcrumbs 1/4 cup milk 1 large egg, beaten to blend 3 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 tbsp. all purpose flour 1 1/2 cups water
Directions
Mix together 1/4 cup soup mix and venison in a large bowl. Add breadcrumbs, milk and egg and mix well. Form mixture into 4 patties. Heat oil in a large skillet. Add venison patties and brown on both sides. Remove patties to a plate. Add flour and remaining soup mix to skillet. Cook, stirring, about 2 minutes until browned. Add water and heat to a simmer. Simmer 20 minutes. Return venison patties to skillet and simmer 15 minutes.
Serves 4.
