Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
12 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta 10 ounce package fresh or frozen, thawed spinach, squeezed dry 4 cups prepared marinara sauce 15 ounce container cottage cheese, drained 3/4 cup chopped green onions 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat the inside of a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Heat a large saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add bow tie pasta and cook until just tender, stirring frequently. Drain pasta well. Combine pasta, spinach, marinara sauce, cottage cheese, green onions, salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well. Spoon spinach mixture into the prepared dish. Sprinkle the Cheddar evenly over the casserole. Cover the casserole with nonstick foil. Bake 35 minutes. Uncover casserole and bake an additional 20 minutes until heated through and Cheddar is melted and browned. Let casserole stand 5 minutes before serving.
Serves 6.
