Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups milk 1/4 cup sugar 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 large egg yolks 1 tbsp. brandy 1 tsp. vanilla extract two 1 pint baskets strawberries, stemmed ground cinnamon fresh mint sprigs
Directions
Whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch and yolks in a medium saucepan until smooth. Cook, whisking constantly, over medium-high heat until mixture thickens and boils, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in brandy and vanilla. Divide berries between bowls and spoon custard over. Sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with mint sprigs.
Serves 4.
