Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped onion 2 tbsp. chopped green bell pepper 1 tbsp. butter or margarine 6 1/2 ounce can water-packed tuna 6 ounces chow mein noodles 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup water 1/8 tsp. pepper 3/4 cup salted peanuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook celery, onion and green pepper with butter in a skillet until onion is tender. Stir in tuna with liquid, 5 ounces chow mein noodles, soup, milk, water, pepper and nuts. Pour into an ungreased 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle remaining chow mein noodles over top. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes.
Serves 4 to 6.
