Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups milk 4 ounces chopped bittersweet or semisweet chocolate 3 strips orange peel 1/2 tsp. instant espresso or coffee powder 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions
Combine milk, chopped chocolate, orange peel, espresso or coffee powder and nutmeg in a medium saucepan. Cook, stirring, over low heat until chocolate is melted. Increase heat to medium and bring mixture to a boil, stirring frequently. Remove pan from the heat and whisk the hot chocolate mixture until frothy. Return the mixture to the heat and return to a boil. Remove the pan once again from the heat and whisk until frothy. Repeat heating and whisking process once more. Discard orange peel, divide hot chocolate between mugs and serve.
Serves 2.
