Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 tbsp. olive oil 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 1/2 pounds tomatillos, chopped 1 1/2 cups chopped onion 1 1/2 cups chopped green pepper 1 1/2 tbsp. minced garlic 1 tbsp. ground cumin 1 tbsp. ground coriander 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Directions
Cook tomatillos, onion, pepper, garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon and nutmeg with olive and vegetable oils until tender about 10 minutes. Stir in cilantro. Serve at room temperature.
Makes approx. 4 cups.
