Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 medium onion, peeled and chopped 1 medium red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and chopped 3/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves 5 medium cloves garlic, peeled and chopped 1 cup soft fresh breadcrumbs 1/2 cup plus 6 tbsp. prepared chili sauce, divided 1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey 1/2 cup sour cream 1 large egg 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine onion, bell pepper, cilantro, garlic, breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup chili sauce, turkey, sour cream, egg, worcestershire, cumin, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Blend with your hands until well mixed. Transfer mixture to an 8x4 inch glass loaf pan. Press turkey mixture into a loaf. Spread remaining 6 tbsp. chili sauce over top of meatloaf. Place meatloaf on a sheet pan to prevent dripping. Bake meatloaf about 90 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Let meatloaf stand, covered with foil, 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
Serves 6 to 8.
