Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 3/4 lbs. swordfish steaks, each 1 inch thick 6 Tbs. butter or margarine 2 Tbs. minced green onions 1 Tbs. lemon juice 3/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. tarragon 1/2 tsp. basil 1/4 tsp. thyme 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 Tbs. chopped parsley
Directions
Preheat broiler. Cut each steak crosswise in half. In 1 quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter, cook green onions 1 minute. remove saucepan from heat; stir in next 6 ingredients. Place fish on rack in broiling pan, brush all sides with butter mixture. Broil 10-15 minutes, basting occasionally. Sprinkle with parsley. Spoon pan juices over fish.
If desired, can garnish with lemon wedges and parsley sprigs.
