Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 medium sweet potatoes vegetable oil for frying salt
Directions
Shave sweet potatoes into long, wide ribbons with a vegetable peeler. Heat oil to 375 degrees in a large, deep skillet. Add a handful of sweet potato ribbons and fry until crisp and slightly golden, stirring occasionally, 30 to 60 seconds. Remove chips from oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season chips with salt. Repeat frying with remaining sweet potato ribbons.
Serves about 8.
