Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion rings 6 strips bacon, cooked until crisp, crumbled 1/3 cup vegetable oil 2 tbsp. cider vinegar 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce 2 large avocados, peeled, pitted and cubed 4 cups mixed salad greens
Directions
Combine the tomatoes, red onion rings and crumbled bacon in a medium bowl. Whisk together oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and Tabasco in a small bowl. Pour oil mixture over tomatoes and toss gently to coat. Add avocado cubes and toss again. Place salad greens in a large bowl. Add the avocado mixture and toss to blend. Serve immediately.
Serves 4.
