Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups dry biscuit mix 1/4 cup sugar, divided 2/3 cup milk 3 tbsp. melted butter 6 cups rinsed, stemmed and sliced fresh strawberries 1 1/2 cups heavy or whipping cream
Directions
Stir together biscuit mix and 2 tbsp. sugar in a medium bowl. Stir in milk. Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead slightly. Roll out to about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out rounds with a 2 inch round cutter. Transfer rounds to a sheet pan and prick all over with a fork. Brush all over with melted butter and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake about 8 minutes until golden.
Makes about 32 biscuits.
To Serve: Slice 4 biscuits in half horizontally. Place one bottom half into each of 4 goblets. Beat cream to stiff peaks in a large bowl. Layer biscuits with strawberries and cream and place top biscuit halves over. Serve warm.
Makes 4.
