Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and split lengthwise 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 cup water 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions
Heat together oil and butter in a large skillet. Add green beans and cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in water, soy sauce and sugar. Cover skillet and let beans steam about 8 to 10 minutes until crisp-tender.
Serves 4.
