Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 pound storebought pizza dough (thawed if frozen) 1 container (15 oz) ricotta cheese 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 4 oz. 1 cup frozen leaf spinach, thawed and drained 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 egg lightly beaten 1 cup marinara pasta sauce from a jar, heated
Directions
Let dough stand covered at room temperature 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat large baking sheet with cooking spray. Combine next 7 ingredients. Cut dough into 4 pieces. On lightly floured surface roll each piece into 7 inch circle. Spread half of circle with 2/3 cup cheese mixture to within 1 inch of edge. Fold other half over filling; using fork press edges to seal. Place on baking sheet; brush with egg. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden. Serve with marinara sauce.
