Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/4 cup butter 1 small onion, peeled and chopped 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper 1/2 tsp. ground cumin 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 cup all purpose flour 1 cup chicken broth 1 cup milk one 16 to 17 ounce can whole kernel corn with liquid
Directions
Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onion, bell peppers, cumin and cayenne. Cook about 8 minutes until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally. Add flour and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Whisk in milk, broth and corn liquid. Heat to a boil, whisking until smooth. Mix in corn and heat through.
Serves 4.
