Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup corn oil 6 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed 4 tsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. lime juice 2 tsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. ground coriander 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, about 6 to 8 ounces each
Directions
Stir together oil, garlic, chili powder, lime juice, cumin, coriander, cloves and cayenne in a large, shallow baking dish. Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours, turning chicken occasionally.
Prepare grill. Remove chicken from the marinade. Reserve marinade. Transfer chicken to an oiled grill rack. Cover and grill chicken about 20 to 30 minutes, basting every 5 minutes with reserved marinade and turning occasionally, until cooked through. Divide chicken between plates and serve.
Serves 6.
