Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup heavy or whipping cream
1/4 cup cocoa powder
4 ounces chopped bittersweet or semisweet chocolate
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
whipped cream
cinnamon sticks
Directions
Whisk together milk, sugar and cream in a large saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and add cocoa powder, chocolate and cinnamon. Whisk until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Pour into cups and garnish with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks if desired.
Serves 2 to 4.
