Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup creamy peanut butter
6 cups Special K cereal
6 ounce package chocolate chips
6 ounce package butterscotch chips
Directions
Combine sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Fold in cereal. Press into a buttered 9x13 inch baking pan. Combine chocolate and butterscotch chips in a small saucepan. Melt together over low heat. Stir until smooth. Spread evenly over top of bars. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
Makes about 1 1/2 to 2 dozen bars.
