Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 cup minced onion 1 1/2 cups chopped celery 3/4 cup butter or margarine 8 cups soft bread cubes 1 1/2 tsp. dried sage leaves 1 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. salt 2 cups chopped pecans
Directions
Heat butter or margarine in a large skillet. Add onion and celery and cook until onion is softened, about 8 to 10 minutes. Combine bread cubes, sage, thyme, pepper, salt and pecans in a large bowl. Pour onion mixture over and toss to mix.
Makes about 6 cups stuffing.
