Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup crisco 1 and 1/2 cup white sugar 2 eggs 2 and 3/4 cup sifted flour 2 teaspoons cream of tarter 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Blend crisco, sugar and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into first mixture. Chill dough. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll bits of dough into balls the size of a walnut. Roll mixture in a mix of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes but still soft. Cookies will puff up at first then flatten out with cracked tops.
