Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. butter 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup honey 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 Tsp. lemon juice
Directions
Melt together butter, sugar, honey and light corn syrup in a double boiler over hot water. Stir in flour and lemon juice. Pour into a bowl, cover and refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Use or make a stencil with the design of your choosing. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick liner. Spread batter over stencil leaving a thin design. Bake until golden brown approx. 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place.
Makes 40 to 50 4 inch round cookies.
