3 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. liquid smoke 4 catfish fillets, about 6 to 8 ounces each.
Directions
Preheat broiler to 450 degrees. Place a broiler pan in the oven and let heat for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, stir together soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder and liquid smoke in a small bowl. Carefully remove heated broiler pan from oven. Place catfish fillets on the heated pan and brush liberally with some of the soy mixture. Broil catfish 3 inches from the heat for about 4 to 6 minutes, basting frequently, until fish flakes easily.
