Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 tsp. olive oil 2 medium shallots, minced 1 pound broccoli florets, cut into 1 inch pieces 1/4 cup water 1/2 tsp. finely grated lemon peel 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
Heat the oil in a medium skillet. Add shallots and cook, stirring frequently, until softened, about 3 minutes. Add the broccoli, water and lemon peel. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until broccoli is crisp-tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
Serves 4.
