Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 tbsp. butter 1 tbsp. minced garlic 2 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. dry thyme 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 30 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 cups lager beer 6 cups chicken broth 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. honey
Directions
Cook garlic, pepper, cayenne, and thyme with butter 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook 1 minute. Stir in beer. Remove shrimp. Add broth, worcestershire and honey to pan and bring to a boil. Reduce sauce to 1 1/4 cups, about 45 minutes. Return shrimp to pan. Cook through. Serve over cooked rice.
Serves 4.
