Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 tbsp. butter 6 cloves garlic, chopped 2 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. crumbled dried thyme 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 30 large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 cups lager beer 6 cups chicken broth 1/2 cup worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. honey
Directions
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, pepper, thyme and cayenne. Cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook 1 minute. Stir in beer. Transfer shrimp to a large bowl. Add broth, worcestershire and honey to skillet. Boil about 45 minutes until reduced to about 1 cup. Return shrimp to skillet and simmer until cooked through, about 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
Serves 4 to 6.
