| Recipe Rating: N/A Printer Friendly | Recipe submitted by chefdude7263
Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
3/4 cup tomato paste 2/3 cup prepared oil and vinegar dressing 1/4 cup red wine 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 4 cloves fresh garlic, peeled and minced 1 tsp. crumbled dried rosemary 1 tsp. sugar 4 New York strip or Sirloin steaks, about 6 ounces each
Directions
Whisk together tomato paste, oil and vinegar dressing, red wine, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, garlic, rosemary and sugar in a medium bowl. Lay steaks in a shallow baking dish and pour marinade over. Turn steaks to coat. Cover and refrigerate steaks at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours. Meanwhile, prepare grill. Remove steaks from marinade, letting excess drip back into dish. Place steaks on an oiled grill rack. Cover and grill steaks to desired doneness, brushing occasionally with any leftover marinade.
*This recipe also works well with chicken or pork.
