Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
6 sprigs frresh rosemary 3 lemons, quartered 12 to 14 pound turkey, rinsed inside and out, giblets removed 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 tsp. garlic salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place rosemary and lemon quarters in turkey cavity. Truss or skewer legs to close. Place turkey, breast side up, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Brush turkey with oil and sprinkle with garlic salt. Bake about 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours until turkey reaches 170 degrees and juices run clear. Let stand 15 minutes before carving.
Serves 12 to 15.
