Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 cups brown sugar 2 cups all purpose flour 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup milk 1 large egg 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup shredded sweetened coconut 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. Stir together the brown sugar and flour in a large bowl. Cut in butter until coarse crumbs form. Reserve 1 cup of the crumb mixture in a small bowl. To remaining crumb mixture, add baking powder, salt, vanilla, milk and egg. Stir until a smooth batter forms. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Stir the chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut into the reserved crumb mixture. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the top of the batter. Bake brownies about 35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Sprinkle the mini marshmallows over the top of the hot brownies. Transfer pan to a rack and cool completely. Cut brownies into bars.
Makes about 2 dozen brownies.
