Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
16 ounces milk chocolate, chopped 1/2 cup finely ground walnuts 6 large marshmallows, each cut crosswise into quarters 8 candied cherries, halved 1/3 cup chopped walnuts 1/4 cup raisins
Directions
Lightly butter the inside of a 9 inch square baking pan. Place the milk chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Melt chocolate until smooth, stirring frequently. Stir in the ground walnuts. Meanwhile, arrange the marshmallow quarters over the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle the marshmallows with the candied cherry halves, chopped walnuts and raisins. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the marshmallows and spread evenly. Tap the pan on the counter several times to settle the chocolate. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours until set. Remove the pan from the refrigerator and let stand 20 minutes. Cut the rocky road into squares. Store squares refrigerated in an airtight container.
Makes about 3 dozen squares.
