Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
12 ounces fresh mushrooms, divided 2 medium onions, peeled and cut into 6 wedges each 1 pound lean ground beef 1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs 1 large egg 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. olive oil 1/4 tsp. pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Halve 3/4 of the mushrooms. Combine with onion wedges and set aside. Mince remaining mushrooms. In a large bowl combine minced mushrooms, beef, bread crumbs, egg, worcestershire and salt. Mix well. Form into 4 oval patties. Toss mushroom half mixture with oil and pepper. Place the beef patties on a baking pan. Place onion-mushroom mixture around patties. Roast 20 minutes until patties are cooked through and mushrooms are tender, turning once. Serve patties topped with onion-mushroom mixture.
Serves 4.
