1/4 cup butter 1 cup minced onion 1 cup ketchup 1/4 cup molasses 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 1/2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. yellow mustard 1/2 tsp. pepper, divided 1/4 tsp. chili powder 1/4 cup bourbon 12 chicken legs 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Add onion and cook about 5 minutes until softened. Add ketchup, molasses, sugar, worcestershire, mustard, 1/4 tsp. pepper and chili powder. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thickened. Stir in bourbon. Simmer 5 minutes. Meanwhile, rinse chicken legs and pat dry. Season with salt and remaining 1/4 tsp. pepper. Place legs on a sheet pan lightly coated with cooking spray. Bake chicken 10 minutes. Brush with some of sauce and bake another 10 minutes. Brush again with sauce and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes until chicken is glazed and cooked through.
