Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 tbsp. olive oil 1 tbsp. butter 2 ounces sliced mushrooms pinch sage pinch thyme 1/4 cup sherry 1/4 cup gorgonzola or bleu cheese 1 tbsp. sour cream pinch salt pinch pepper 10 ounce boneless rib eye steak
Directions
Cook mushrooms, sage and thyme with butter and oil until mushrooms are tender. Add sherry, cheese, sour cream, salt and pepper and heat through. Grill steak to desired doneness and spoon sauce over. Garnish with additional crumbled cheese if desired.
Makes 1 serving.
