Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped 1/2 cup butter, cut into 8 pieces 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup seedless raspberry jam 2 large eggs 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan. Combine chocolate and butter in a double boiler over simmering water. Melt and stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar and jam until smooth. Whisk in eggs. Add flour and salt and whisk until smooth. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan. Bake brownies 15 to 20 minutes until just set and a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs. Cool brownies 5 minutes in pan on a rack. Cut into squares. Cool completely.
Makes about 12 to 15 brownies.
