Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup milk 1 envelope unflavored gelatin 2 tbsp. water 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup sour cream 1/2 tsp. almond extract 10 ounce package frozen, thawed raspberries in syrup
Directions
Heat milk to a boil in a medium saucepan. Meanwhile, place water in a small bowl and sprinkle gelatin over. Let stand until milk boils. Stir gelatin mixture and sugar into hot milk. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Transfer mixture to a medium bowl and cool to room temperature. Whisk in sour cream and almond extract. Whisk until smooth. Pour Bavarian into a 1 quart jello mold. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 3 hours until Bavarian is set.
To unmold Bavarian, dip mold in warm water for 10 seconds. Invert Bavarian onto a serving plate and unmold. Spoon raspberries with syrup over the top of the Bavarian and serve.
Serves 6 to 8.
