Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 tbsp. butter 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 1/3 cup water 1/2 cup milk 2 1/2 tbsp. dry onion soup mix 3 tbsp. minced fresh parsley leaves 1 cup process cheese(such as Velveeta), cubed 1 1/2 cups cubed, cooked ham
Directions
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add potato slices and cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring to coat. Add water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes until potatoes are tender. Meanwhile, stir together milk, soup mix, parsley and cheese cubes in a medium bowl. Pour the milk mixture over the potatoes. Add ham and cook, stirring, until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth. Serve immediately.
Serves 4.
