Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 package pie crust mix 20 ounce can blueberry pie filling 1/4 tsp. ground mace 1 tbsp. milk 1 tbsp. sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare pie crust mix according to package directions. Roll out dough to an 18x12 inch rectangle on a floured surface. Cut dough into six 6 inch squares. Stir together blueberry filling and mace in a small bowl. Spoon a 1/4 cupful of filling into the center of each dough square. Fold dough over to form a triangle. Press edges with a fork to seal. Prick tops of turnovers in 2 places to let steam escape. Brush tops of turnovers with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Transfer turnovers to a sheet pan. Bake turnovers about 20 minutes until golden. Transfer to a rack and cool slightly. Serve turnovers warm.
Makes 6 turnovers.
