1/2 cup barbecue sauce 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 3/4 tsp. salt, divided 1 1/2 tsp. white vinegar 1 1/2 pounds ground pork 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 4 Kaiser rolls or hamburger buns, split and toasted
Directions
Stir together barbecue sauce, cayenne, 1/4 tsp. salt and vinegar in a small bowl. Mix together ground pork, remaining 1/2 tsp. salt, pepper and 2 tbsp. of the barbecue sauce mixture in a large bowl until just combined. Form the pork mixture into four, 3/4 inch thick, patties. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the pork patties to the skillet and cook about 3 to 4 minutes per side until cooked through. Brush the tops of the burgers with some of the barbecue sauce and cook an additional 1 minute. Brush the cut sides of the Kaiser rolls or hamburger buns with the remaining barbecue sauce mixture. Place the cooked pork burgers on the buns and serve immediately.
