Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
2 tbsp. cream cheese, softened 4 tsp. crumbled blue cheese 4 tsp. plain low-fat yogurt 2 tsp. minced onion 1/8 tsp. white pepper 1 large clove garlic, peeled and halved 4 beef tenderloin steaks, about 5 to 6 ounces each 1/2 tsp. salt, divided 2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
Directions
Preheat broiler. Combine cream cheese, blue cheese, yogurt, onion and pepper in a small bowl. Rub steaks all over with cut sides of garlic. Place a rack in a broilerproof pan. Place steaks on rack. Broil meat 2 to 3 inches from heat source for 5 minutes. Season steaks with 1/4 tsp. salt. Turn steaks over. Broil 3 minutes. Season steaks with remaining salt. Top steaks with cheese mixture. Broil an additional 1 to 2 minutes until cheese is melted. Sprinkle parsley over steaks and serve.
Serves 4.
