Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 cup brown sugar 2 cups rolled oats 1 cup raisins 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 2 cups sifted all purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tsp. ground nutmeg 2 large eggs 3/4 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 cup butterscotch baking chips
Directions
Combine sugar, oats, raisins, nuts, flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl. Whisk together eggs, oil, milk and vanilla in a small bowl. Stir into flour mixture just until blended. Stir in butterscotch chips. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake cookies 12 to 15 minutes until set and lightly browned. Cool cookies on pans 4 minutes. Transfer to racks and cool completely.
Makes about 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
