Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
eight 1/4 inch thick turkey breast tenderloins 1 1/2 tsp. dried sage 1/4 cup butter 3 green onions, thinly sliced 2 tbsp. all purpose flour 1 3/4 cup chicken broth 1/3 cup cream sherry 4 thick slices sourdough or other bread, toasted and buttered
Directions
Sprinkle turkey with sage. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add turkey and cook until browned and cooked through, about 1 1/2 minutes per side. Transfer turkey to a plate. Add green onions to skillet and cook 1 minute. Sprinkle with flour and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Whisk in broth and sherry and heat to a boil. Boil, stirring, until gravy thickens, about 2 minutes. Return turkey to skillet and heat through. Top each bread slice with 2 turkey tenderloins and gravy.
Serves 4.
