Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/4 cup olive oil 3 tbp. lemon juice 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 16 ounces flank or skirt steak
Directions
Whisk together the oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper in a shallow baking dish. Add the steak and turn to coat. Let the steak marinate 20 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Meanwhile, prepare the grill. Remove the steak from the marinade and place on an oiled grill rack. Grill the steak about 3 to 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Transfer the grilled steak to a cutting board and slice thinly across the grain. Serve the steak immediately.
Serves 2 to 4.
