Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
two 14.75 ounce cans chicken broth, divided 5 tbsp. all purpose flour 1 medium carrot, peeled and finely chopped 1 cup chopped red bell pepper 1/4 cup chopped green onion 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 cup frozen, thawed corn kernels 1 cup milk
Directions
Whisk together flour and 1 can broth in a medium saucepan until smooth. Add remaining broth, carrot, bell pepper, green onions, salt and cayenne. Simmer 5 minutes over medium low heat until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Stir in corn and milk. Simmer 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serves 4.
