Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1/3 cup heavy or whipping cream 1 1/2 tsp. finely grated orange peel 8 ounces chopped bittersweet or semisweet chocolate 3 tbsp. orange liqueur such as Grand Marnier cubed pound cake cubed angel food cake stemmed fresh strawberries peeled and sliced kiwis peeled, cored, sliced pear sliced banana
Directions
Combine cream and orange peel in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Add chocolate and 1 tbsp. orange liqueur. Reduce heat to low and stir chocolate until melted and smooth. Remove pan from the heat and stir in remaining 2 tbsp. orange liqueur Transfer chocolate mixture to a fondue pot and place over a canned heater. Arrange cake cubes, strawberries, kiwi, pear and banana(or other desired cake, cookies or fruit) on a platter and serve with fondue for dipping.
Serves 4 to 6.
