Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
1 medium clove garlic, peeled 1 chicken bouillon cube 2 tbsp. sugar 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup soy sauce 12 thin slices leftover roast pork hot cooked rice
Directions
Preheat broiler. Combine whole clove of garlic, bouillon cube, sugar, water and soy sauce in a small saucepan. Heat to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Discard garlic clove. Place pork slices in a single layer on a broiler pan. Brush pork slices with some of sauce. Broil pork 4 inches from the heat about 5 minutes per side until crisp and browned, brushing several times with sauce during cooking. Serve pork over hot cooked rice if desired.
Serves 4.
