Ingredients (view qty in metric system instead)
4 large boneless skinless chicken breast halves 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 cups chopped onion 3 bay leaves 2 1/2 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary or 1 tsp. dried 1 1/2 cups chicken broth 1/2 cup dry white wine
Directions
Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat butter in a large skillet. Add chicken and brown, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to a plate. Add onion, bay leaves and rosemary to skillet and cook until onion is tender, about 6 minutes. Add broth and wine and bring to a boil. Boil 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Return chicken to skillet and turn to coat with sauce. Cover skillet and simmer about 5 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Serves 4.
